Overview
Our college has a vibrant and active mooting culture. The AALC Moot Court Society (AALC MCS) is a student run club under the guidance of faculty co-coordinators, which seeks to channelize the students on the mooting path. The AALC MCS embodies the indefeasible passion for mooting that the Institute cherishes as its own. The AALC MCS is a team of dedicated students and faculties who continuously work towards achieving new heights in the mooting arena.
The primary goal of the AACL MCS is to provide all the AALC students the opportunities to harbor research, oral advocacy and legal drafting skills and other essential prowess to mould an individual into an adept mooter. The MCS has also undertaken to educate the fresher batch every year regarding the nuances of mooting, conducting at the start of the year a detailed orientation programme. A competitive AALC Intra Class Moot Court Competition is conducted so that all the students get an exposure to the arena of mooting and the best teams are send to various national and international moot court competitions.
The MCS doesn’t just limit itself to Intra-College activities it also indulges itself in various Inter-College competitions. AALC students have taken part in various national and international Moot Court Competitions hosted by many law colleges. AALC moot teams have a tradition of excellence in various Moot Court Competitions in India.
