Overview
Gender justice clubs provide a platform to raise awareness about gender issues and educate students, faculty, and staff about gender equality and its importance. They promote gender equality, empower women, and address gender-based violence and discrimination. They also aim at creating a safe and inclusive space for women and other marginalized genders to discuss and address issues of gender-based violence, harassment, and discrimination. The members of the club act as advocates and lobbyists for gender equality policies and laws, both within the law college and in the wider community. Overall, gender justice clubs in law colleges play a critical role in promoting gender equality, empowering women, and fostering a more just and inclusive society. Gender justice in educational institutions is crucial for creating an equitable and inclusive learning environment for all students. The gender justice club of Al Azhar Law college is envisaged to inculcate these ideals in the students.
