Constitution and Objectives

Film Club, constituted by Al Azhar Law College, consisting of our faculties, Arpitha Krishnan, Jani Rejikumar, Anaswara TT. The Film Club can be a platform for students to explore legal themes and issues depicted in movies. Many films explore legal concepts and issues, such as justice, morality, ethics, and human rights. By watching and discussing these films, law students can deepen their understanding of these concepts and how they apply in real-life legal situations. It can also provide a space for students to unwind and socialize.

Watching movies and discussing them with peers can be a fun and rewarding way to build connections and relieve stress. It can help to develop critical thinking skills by analysing the themes, characters, and messages in movies. By this, students can learn to approach complex issues from multiple perspectives and develop their analytical skills. Overall, a film club can be a valuable addition to a law college, providing students with opportunities to engage with legal concepts in a creative and engaging way, socialize with peers, and develop important skills.
