Jaisy George
Ms. Jaisy George, who is presently pursuing Ph.D in Evidence Law from Symbiosis International University, holds a two-year dual LL.M. from School of Legal Studies, CUSAT. Her core specialisations are ‘Criminal Law’ and ‘Human Rights Law’ which she pursued with University Merit Scholarship for her outstanding performance in academics at the UG level. She has also qualified the UGC-NET in 2014 and ever since have got a good teaching experience; including serving herself as Assistant Professor in Symbiosis Law School, Pune which is consistently ranked among the top 10 Law Colleges in India by the NIRF.
Her relevant industrial experience includes litigation, wherein she was associated with Adv. C. Varghese Kuriakose. There she had practised law in almost all courts and tribunals within the territorial limits of Cochin Corporation including the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala. She has also served as a legal consultant, wherein she got herself associated with M/s Fabin Technologies as a legal consultant during the course of which she had actively involved in the labour and human rights issues of workers including their conditions of work amongst the others.
During the LL.B. programme she had attended several National Moot Court Competitions and had even bagged Prizes then.
She has 5 publications to her account, which includes a publication in Q3 Scopus indexed journal as also a journal with Impact Factor: 5.2. She has also attended and presented Papers in an International Conference; 10 National Seminars, 8 National Workshops and a National Conference; and has attended 11 FDPs to be at par with excellence. She also engages herself in online educational content creation in her free time.
